Tradeshow Installation and Dismantle is a time sensitive industry, much like the movie industry "the show must go on". Tradeshow Installers are dispatched to various convention centers and hotels around Southern California. Depending on the size of the show, there could be as many as 1000 installers on a job. The Installer's lay carpet, set up exhibits, install various graphics, suspend truss and rigging for specialty lighting etc. Once the show opens, the installers are either dispatched to another job or have a few days off before returning to dismantle the show and prepare for the next event.

Due to the time sensitive nature of the industry, an installer may have to work as long as 16+ hours in one day. This type of dedication to the job is well rewarded.

Mon-Fri 8am-4:30pm is straight time

Mon-Fri 4:30pm-8:30pm is time and a half

Mon-Fri 8:30pm-8:00am, Saturday and Sunday is double time

Along with this great pay scale, there are employer paid medical, dental and optical benefits and a pension contribution per hour worked. A career in Tradeshow Installation is physically demanding, but you will be rewarded for your efforts.
